Saint Basil Cathedral

The Cathedral of St. Basil is an Orthodox church and is located in Moscow's Red Square, built in 1555 by order of Ivan IV of Russia. The original building consisted of a central eight churches, and later that of St. Basil. The design of the building is very original and unique because it remembers the flames of a bonfire that rise toward the sky. Since 1928, The St. Basil's Cathedral houses the State Historical Museum and UNESCO World Heritage since 1990.
