Red Square Kazan Church

The Kazan Cathedral 'is a Russian Orthodox church in Moscow's Red Square. The building as we see now is the reconstruction of the original church, destroyed in 1936 by order of Stalin. The Cathedral of Kazan 'was originally erected as a shrine to Our Lady in the seventeenth century to commemorate the city's deliverance from the Poles.
