Damrak Street

Damrak is the street leading from the Amsterdam Central Station to Dam Square, cutting north to south, the center of Amsterdam, on the covered bed of the river Amstel. The Damrak, a street crowded and lively, full of shops, restaurants and travel agencies, welcomes tourists to the station and takes just a few minutes to the Royal Palace on Dam, passing trams, boats for canal tours and Beursplein (Exchange Square).
