Coba Nohoch Mul Pyramid

The Mayan pyramid Nohoch Mul Coba (Coba) is the tallest structure in northern Yucatan (42m), was built on top of a natural elevation. Nohoch Mul comes from Maya nohoch means big, and mul meaning mound. It is composed of seven bodies with rounded corners and two stairs on the south side. The upper temple is the Post Classic Period (1100-1450 AD).
