The Bosphorus, also known as the Istanbul Strait separates European and Asian continents. The Bosporus is the 'narrowest strait' of the world used for international navigation, its width is between 700 and 3,700 meters long and 30 km. On its shores there are beautiful buildings, palaces, mosques and forts. Two bridges cross connect Europe and Asia.
